Bart d’Ancona

Bart, a Dutch National, is the founder of SHRM Financial Services (Luxembourg) S.A., and initiated the SHRM network that is represented in Luxembourg, British Virgin Islands, Hong-Kong and New Zealand. Bart has been actively involved with the offshore financial services industry since 1985.
Bart’s career commenced in Jersey where he was with ABN Amro for 3 years as a Trust Officer. In 1988 he joined Citco and relocated to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) at a time when the jurisdiction was gaining prominence as a key offshore financial centre. He was subsequently promoted to Assistant Managing Director and posted to Luxembourg, where he was responsible for establishing Citco’s presence in the jurisdiction.
During 1993-1998, Bart was Managing Director of Bayard Luxembourg, a boutique Trust Company who specialised in administering sophisticated corporate and trust structures catering to the needs of high net worth individuals.
Bart initiated the establishment of SHRM in 1998.
Reid Thurlow
- Director (BVI, Hong Kong & Singapore)
Reid, a New Zealand national, is the Managing Director of SHRM Corporate Services (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and SHRM Financial Services (HK) Limited. Reid studied Business in New Zealand and began his professional career in Luxembourg when he took up a position with Bankers Trust in 1991. After two years in Luxembourg Reid moved to London and spent a year working on contract assignments with several city banks. During 1994 he went to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and managed an office for a prominent independent Trust Company. In October 1997 he relocated to Hong Kong and took up a management position for an international trust group and then went on to establish and manage the Hong Kong branch office for a combined BVI Law Firm & Trust Company. In 2003 Reid gained incorporation and regulatory approval for the SHRM venture in Hong Kong, where he continues to reside. He has extensive experience and expertise dealing with international clients in many diverse regions and jurisdictions. Reid has lived and worked in all but one of the countries where SHRM has an office location and was instrumental in the establishment of the office in Singapore at the beginning of 2012.
Liliya Semenyuk
- Director (Luxembourg)
Liliya, a Ukrainian National, serves as Managing Director for SHRM Group (Luxembourg) S.A., and has been actively involved with the financial services industry since May 2007 when she joined SHRM. Liliya started as a Corporate Administrator, and in 2010 she was promoted to Business Development Manager, where she was responsible for the SHRM Group of Companies’ High-Net Worth Individual clients (HNWI) as well as Hong Kong and BVI Institutional clients, and supervising the workflow of her team. After 4 years she took up a management position for SHRM Group (Luxembourg) S.A. This entity operates within the offices of long established Luxembourgish law firm Faltz & Felgen.
Her main responsibilities include Client Relationships with HNWI, bank relationships and regulatory compliance of the Family Office. She manages and supervises her team within the Family Office, and works closely with her clients, directors & officers of corporate entities within her clients’ structures and all associated service providers.
Aliza Tyson
- Corporate Supervisor
Aliza Tyson, a British Virgin Islander, joined SHRM in December 2007 as Corporate Supervisor. She was educated at HLSCC College, Tortola where she completed an Associate Degree in Financial Services.
Aliza began her career with AMS Trustees Limited, where she worked her way up to the position of Senior Corporate Administrator.
In 2004 Aliza took up a position with Nerine Trust Company (BVI) Limited where she worked as a Fiduciary Services Officer.
